Wow - Brokeback Mountain Memorabilia fetches. . . you won't believe how much!!

Here's a fantastic example of how a little bit of star power can really move the needle for a good cause. I guess it helps when said star power comes from Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger. . . whose shirts from the movie Brokeback Mountain were auctioned to raise money for a children's charity called Variety.



I can't believe I'm saying this, but the two shirts went for. . . are you ready for this? Over $100,000!!!!!!! I'm not kidding - you can see the bidding history here and see that there were multiple bidders ready to pay a mortgage-sized chunk of change to obtain these shirts benefit this charity.
