Technorati Live8 Site launches

The good people at Technorati have a launched a special site to track conversations in the blogosphere about the Live8 series of anti-poverty concerts. Say what you will about whether you think these will be an effective way to create change -- and there is plenty of debate -- but this is definitely a cool use of new blog-related technology as a way of enlarging the dialogue about something important.

Kudos to Sifry and Co; I hope this is a sign of more good things to come.
